DIY: large scale canvas art

project #11 of 20 in august
i used to do this same idea to t-shirts.
maybe one day i'll make a tutorial for them.
i love the idea of doing this on canvas. why didn't i think of that?
what a fast and easy way to make beautiful art
that not only look flippin expensive, but it easy.

DIY: lovable tissue paper art

my computer broke.
yes.
my one life line in alaska flopped.
cory (my husband) is going to fix it...
fixing crashed computers was in his marriage resume.
i made sure of it.
the only reason i am telling you this is because
my future greensubmarine posts were on my computer.
so until cory accomplishes his duties as computer fixer
you get to enjoy my newest finds (like found today).
first to be featured is this lovely project from mandy.
i love the simplicity.
this is def a project i will be doing with my youngest sister.

DIY: mod tree decor

oh goodness, this one really is a quickie.
(if you have the right tools, that is)
i personally don't have a tree punch..
but trust me i will be purchasing one just for this idea.

DIY: wall flowers

next semester my husband and i will be dorm parents again.
i am so excited to decorate the girls dorm before they come.
most girls come from small alaskan villages.
no running water, no toilets, no target!
(target is up there on my i miss most list)
some girls have never even had their own bed.
it will be so fun to help them decorate their very first rooms.

ooo la la. i just might faint from happiness.
i am so glad that i found this project.

this will make dorm renovations very cheap and easy.
