i have really enjoyed the past couple days of project searching.
somedays i find nothing worth while, while on other i find TONS of fantastic projects.
i was really excited to find this project on little birdie secrets.
a super cute and simple (and fast) way to make your own pendant jewelry.

DIY: fabric pom pom neckalce

first of all lets state the obvious...
happy new year!
i really hope everyone had a great holiday, i sure have been enjoy myself.
sorry my blog kinda died there for a second.
i have been living in up here in utah and am trying to soak in every second of family, friends, and food.
so i thought it would only be fair to inform you that my blog will continue to be dead till
JANUARY 9th!
(when i will be back in alaska, unpacked, and ready to focus on DIY again)
anyways, because i love my readers i couldn't help but feature a project today...

 i am smitten with this necklace,
though i don't know what you would call it. 
this little rosette/ pom pom flower necklace is just too cute.
loving it.

DIY: put more bang in your bangle

quick post.
i saw this great idea on sisters 4 say more is more.
(you will love this blog)
she found a ugly red bangle at target for cheap and decided to make it her own.
the tutorial is great, lots of pictures and really easy to follow.
sorry i couldn't write more, i really need to get to bed.
as my husband likes to say lately,
"time to put the fetus to sleep"
(i'm pregnant)
i should have been asleep hours ago.

DIY: long necklace holder

project #12 of 20 in august
this is a great idea.
cheap too. the hooks she got at walmart for a dollar.
the project was found on lemon tree creations.
can i just say that i am absolutely in love that blog.
i get all sorts of excited when they post something new.
i think this is the third project i have featured by them...

DIY: hand jewelry display

no more alaska.
at least not for 10 days.
i am enjoying a lovely vaca in san diego.
sadly, my hubby couldn't get time from work to come.
fyi{cory}: i miss you.
but am living it up anyways with my college roommate from '08.
we like to call our time together reboot sessions.
i know. i know. i shouldn't blog on my vacation.
but i can't help it.
i just have so many fun finds i want you all to see.
just like this project clara from the home in paradise did.
i am always in awe with the creativity people have.
this display is cute,trendy, and super simple.
yea. i know. it doesn't look that easy, but
don't you worry, you'll feel better after seeing the how-to.
her steps are simple and easy to follow.

who doesn't like a great knock off.
i think people who can look at something at the store and think
to themselves, "i can make that," are flippin gifted/awesome.
