living in alaska has been a very interesting experience.
i'm a arizona girl at heart (gilbert), so i live for the warmth.
i miss the bright sun and the 100 + degree weather.
i will be lucky to see 70 + anytime this year. ouch.
so to warm up i tried searching for a tutorial to make some rice bags.
you know the ones you heat in the microwave.
instead i found these lavender bags... i fell in LOvE.
i found them on paper n stich.
they are so cute!
i would love to find this fabric.
or any fun bright fabric... where do you shop for fabric?

Ooh super cute! I love the fabric too! Ya know I have been obsessing lately over vintage fabrics. I think its more of an excuse to go to the antique stores ;)

ReplyDeleteLove these! I just bought my Mom some sachets for her new bathroom but I think in the future I'll make them. :)
ReplyDeleteBtw, I'm moving to Arizona (possibly Gilbert area!) in September. I'm a San Diego girl currently living in Wisconsin so I kind of know how you feel. The temp gets pretty high here, but it's the humidity that is killing me in WI! I can't wait to get back to the desert!
Thanks for following through Green Follow Friday! I'm going to explore your blog more during the week when I have more time, I love it!
Thank you so much for making my day! Your sweet comments about me definately made my day a little brighter. Alaska huh?
ReplyDeleteYou are a better woman than I.
I love your blog and all of the fantastic ideas that you find. I will be back to see what other kinds of fabulousness you come up with!
Happy Weekend!
What a cute and bright and colorful blog you have! Fun name, too. I also have links to Utah...but in Texas. I'd love to go to Alaska someday. I am running all over your blog checking out your hair accessories tutorials and other things. Found you on the friendly friday link up on "the girl creative."
ReplyDeleteI like these. With all the Lavender recipes I've been putting on the blog... I think it's time to make something non-edible with the Lavender. (smile) Very cute.
